A rare original exhibition poster from a landmark moment in documentary photography — Leonard Freed's 'The Concerned Photographer', shown in Tokyo in 1968. The exhibition, organized by Cornell Capa, brought together the work of six humanist photographers whose images bore witness to war, civil rights, and the human condition. It drew enormous crowds in Japan and was covered by the New York Times.
